Daytona 165000 vs AP 15450

An earlier topic from a gentleman inquiring about a Daytona vs an ROO 41m had me thinking that I have the opportunity to trade my 165000LN into a RO 15450 RO 37M. Personally, I do feel the 37M is an adequate size as majority of my watches are 40m +, so this will be a breathe of fresh air. Additionally, since all RO wears larger, I don’t believe I’ll have any issue with the 37m. I know it comes down to personal preference and honestly, I must confess I never dared to think about owning an AP until I took into consideration the premium of a Daytona... seeing how the 15450 could be had for 19k - 23k (used of new and blue dial), it is on par with the Daytona white.

Many have mentioned that AP can be rather costly for service and frankly I don’t even know how often a service is needed on a AP. Additionally, at a 50m water resistance, it seems I won’t be wearing it to the showers (kidding).

All the watch stores are closed at the moment so it’s impossible to gauge the size of the watch on my wrist.
I am pretty much set on a 15450 and is not looking at any other variations from AP.

Much appreciate the honest feedback and opinions..

Happy Easter all!
