panerai 44/45 mm struggles suggestions?

can anyone advice me some pams similar to the pam372 with domed crystal in 44 or 45mm? I find the 44/45 mm selection most of the time a bit less than the 47mm watches but 47 is to big for my wrist I like the pam0 0 533 but i feel that the dial is perhaps a bit to busy so i would feel more for a 372 besides it size……….
I am strongly considering myself my first Panerai and if i had a larger wrist i would be happy to buy a lot of them

I had the same struggle. The closest in terms of looks is the ltd edition 390, but not a sandwich dial, dome or exhibition back. I sold mine for those reasons and bought 233, all the desirable parts plus complications.

Get a preowned 233... if you want a dome glass look with 1950 case... or of course the 390 if you want a “base” look

I think this will be it indeed, i found out that the 533 do not have the domed glass(which i think is necesarry for the classic PAN look)

If you want 44 with dome, the 233 is the choice, and it is a “classic” as it was the first PAM with an in-house movement (if that’s important to you).

Otherwise, if you want a “classic” 44 Luminor, to put it simply, look to a 000 or 111.

Good luck with your hunt.

what i understand now is that the 372 is still in production? Is it globally possible to go in a boutique and fit this model? Or is it the same drama as Rolex and AP uses?

The best bit about Panerai is that they are happy to sell you their watches, rather than laughing at you the second you say 'do you have.....'!!

Not sure where you are but as of today it is still available for purchase at the US Panerai's website. So if you have access to a boutique they might be able to locate one for you or ADs may still have them too.

The best thing is that you do not feel some kind of cheap beggarmen while walking out than.

The point is that i feel that this, i think is the nicest reference.. Indeed the 233 is probably equally nice but this gives a bit cleaner look.. What i also would ''decide'' is a 425 i located a other 47mm radiomir not long ago, with wired lugs which was not to large for my skinny 6 inch flat wrist .. are all those cases the same?

That’s another piece I was desperate to like!! It just felt like a dinner plate on my wrist. The 720 and 721 felt better. All the same case size btw.

721, i would also consider Yes they all have the ''classic'' look i think, if i think about PAM i think about these type of watches and the more i look into pam's the more i get lost atm in many references

45mm......If you can get hold of one, the Panerai limited edition 999, green dial.

Spectacular watch imo.

For good measure here is a stock photo, but there has been some amazing wrist shots of this reference posted on this forum over the last few months. GMT, power reserve, the colour, its a great timepiece.

Yes it is very nice indeed. What is your opinion about PAM619? I think it is a bit to thin for a pan :(…

The 619 is a great watch and I think I slightly prefer Radiomirs. However brown on brown is a little too conservative for me.

It does look slim, the domed crystal on the 999 is another reason why I love that watch.

It's always a challenge with Panerai as they produce their best designs in 47mm! Part of me thinks the answer is to embrace the 47mm with a thick 5mm custom made strap. However, I chickened out and got a lightly used 112 back in 2017. The old base/marina models (111 and 112) are reasonably priced (for Panerai!), have a sandwich dial, exhibition cashback and super reliable/tested movement. A 372 will be my next PANERAI though despite the wife saying it looks too big!
