Buying Strap on a spree for an incoming Panerai
This may sounds a little crazy. I just purchased my first Panerai and it'll not arrived until the next 2 weeks. In the meantime I also bought 9 straps for it. Am I crazy or what. How many straps does one need for their Panerai watch? Would love to hear stories from you guys when you first gotten your Panerai.

LOL as have done the same thing.
Have a box 12" x 12" x 8" nearly filled with bracelets, straps, cuffs, and other bits for many different timepieces. From leather to NATO and rubber... Good to know i'm not the only one who does this.

Once, before years, I red that you are not a true paneristi if the value of your strap collection isn't half of the value of your watch collection!
Things can easily get out of hand when strapmania kicks in. But this goes with the fun of collecting panerai. Congrats on your first panerai (which one by the way) and enjoy the journey |

I’ve tried a bunch of aftermarket and OP straps for mine, but I keep going back to the one it came from the factory with ... I guess IMO Panerai got it right

No issues with the straps as I own about 30 for my Panerai watches. I would pump the brakes for a minute though and let the watch get in and try the options you have. I found that with wear I gravitate toward certain types of straps. I also do not get rid of straps even when I move watches as I cycle back around and it stops the buying it back piece.
