Resizing Vintage 1601 Jubilee Bracelet

Hi everyone,

Recently acquired a 1601 with a scratch on the bracelet (refer to photo) but otherwise great vintage condition. I would like to remove that link but I know they are notoriously difficult, has anyone found a way to do so without ruining it?

Thank you.

Kenny

Looks like a fair amount of stretch on the bracelet. When I acquired my 1972 1603 the bracelet was too loose to wear. I sent it off to Rolliworks for restoration and only needed to use the micro adjustments on the clasp to get a perfect fit when it came back. It looks great now too.

It's not easy, here's a link from a thread from a few weeks ago on the same subject.

Thank you so much! Managed to get it out using a heat gun, a small flat head and some patience.

Thought it was a lost cause for so long!
