It’s a personal preference. I like the skeletonized rotor which to me seemed like more work due to the extra edges. Maybe its cos i have 2 ROO with the same shield rotor.
But the main fact is if i went to an AP store that had every AP model in stock, and i hadn’t done a whole lot of internet research, i wouldn’t even try on the 15202st for being too small. After trolling the forums i am sure i want a 15202 more than any other AP and once i get it, it will sit on a safe after i beg the sales person to sell it without removing stickers lol...i am not sure i am better off cos now i want a watch that i won’t wear much and can’t get it either and the ones i want and can get are someone inferior to the more sought after 15202 lol... Thanks guys, you all suck... Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Agree, paying over MSRP is painful, but unless you want a lot of APs...go straight to the one you want, pay the premium and move on.
Somewhat similarly, but on a whole other level, I recently nearly pulled the trigger on a 458 speciale, a car 5 years old...but STILL over sticker. Guess what though, I’m not going to play those games to buy 3-4 cars before i’m offered a special edition ferrari at retail. I bought 4 APs before being offered a 15202. On any of these hard to get things, you have to be willing to go deep before getting that coveted item. The difference though, the jumbo was never a goal, it just happened on my collecting journey. |

Gotten a 26401RO Feb 2019 from a local ad. The local AD actually gave an almost 15% discount off retail. Expressed interest in other models and contacted an SA from AP boutique that was introduced by a friend. SA said we have to build 'relationship' and begin our journey from the same boutique, the previous AP i bought is not counted. She didn't said it this way, but implied it, and I can totally understand why. Then Gotten a Diver in Sep 2019. Another ROC in Dec 2019. 15500ST in Feb 2020. Getting a 77351ST for my wife after stores open in Jun2020. And the last time my wife secretly checked in with my SA without me knowing as she wanted to intercept my order if a 15202 was offered to me, my SA said 'still not so soon' Might have to wait another year perhaps, but just like what mustangtornado said, i do enjoy all the watches i gotten from AP, so im not in a rush or anything. If i can allocated sooner, great, if not, i enjoy my current pieces very much |

Later on few months later, I did tell her that if there’s a blue 15500st one that came along first it’s good for me too, but the grey one was allocated, and the grey is beautiful too! So am happy |

After this thread I'm definitely picking up a different reference - possibly the 15400/500.
