Blansky Banned
Saw that Blansky was selling a well-priced 116710LN. Reached out about learning more and then saw he was banned and the listing had been removed.

Thanks everyone.
Yeah the account was hacked and someone posted an ad I guess. The warning I got was don't open emails and go to links or download pictures from it. I have no memory of opening any unknown emails and I never click on their links. How people hack, is so far out of my knowledge base, I have no clue how it happened. I have great software on my computer and to my knowledge I've never been hacked before.

Never sign into your account from a link in an email. If the link is opened it appears as a web page that looks like the forum... if you don’t close that page it can sit in your open windows until you forget about it and then accidentally sign in.

Glad it got sorted out... There is a breed of malware that can compromise your device whether its mobile or desktop/laptop without clicking a link in email. The code can be injected by clicking an image that has the malware already inserted. Typically a message pops up with an innocuous choice like Open in Browser?, or Open Full Size? Once clicked you get a nice botnet-controlled keystroke logger. Obviously that allows collection of userID’s and passwords. There are many other ways to do this but you will usually get infected by a social media post or advert. Not via TRF nor TapaTalk. In another thread about hijacked accounts that post FS listings, I have asked if we could invoke 2-factor authentication for all sellers. I don’t think everyone would be required but at least it protects people being scammed. Of course, just allowing 2-factor on a voluntary basis would have a benefit for those of us wanting that extra layer of security. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
