The big 4-0. Double grail incoming...
So I turned 40 yesterday and was exceptionally lucky to celebrate by adding 2 of my final 3 grails. I’ve been waiting to get these pieces for some time and both came at retail, which was a lovely result.
Appropriate to this sub-forum is the beautiful 15202st, which I’ve craved for years after stupidly letting go of my 15300 before the massive price-surge. This is my only “boutique-supplied” AP and prior to that I had one AD-supplied Diver about 9 years ago, so hopefully that provides a bit of inspiration to anyone thinking they’ll never get a 202 or similar. All it takes is incredible good looks, charm, wit, and perseverance! Or if, like me, you are blessed with none of those things, just be very lucky! Many congrats. I prefer the 15300 as it’s more’ me’ but if you’re looking for the ultimate elegant sports watch then the 15202 is it!

I was between the 15202 and 5712 for my 40th (back when you could get both in ADs)... Your choice looks fantastic! And what to say about the travel time as well, that is pure luck and amazing timing! Another beautiful piece. They complement each other nicely. |
