Royal Oak 41mm vs 37mm Fit
Hey guys,
Had the opportunity to try on both a 41mm and 37mm at the boutique today and would appreciate your opinion on the fit of both. I personally feel that the 41mm suits my wrist better. |

37mm looks "dressier" and a bit more tailored to your wrist. The 41mm definitely commands attention (Its AP afterall so this is likely something you want).
IMO the 37 is the more elegant of the two (in terms of sizing only).

I like the 41mm on your wrist better.

Depends what you’re looking for. The 15450 looks perfect on your wrist for a classic sports watch. The 41mm works for you as well, but as an oversized watch.
If you want an elegant look, 15450. If you want wrist presence and something more attention grabbing, the 41mm. I think you’re in a pretty unique sweet-spot position with your wrist size that means both work. A good place to be. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think the 41mm looks better on your wrist. I like the Royal Oaks to fill the width of the wrist without lug overhang.

I think your wrist is about 6.75", you can wear either one. It's personal preference, some people like to wear small, some people like to wear big.
IMHO, I like 41 mm better on you. In the pictures, 37mm looks more elegant because of the clean dial and rose gold bracelet, if you want more elegant on 41mm, go for 15500OR with rose gold bracelet. |

I put my name down for a blue dial, but I may go for the black dial, since it's more realistic that I'll get one.

As usual, 39 for the win as it’s the perfect size. This mean jumbo, 15300, or new chrono

Have you tried both on? The 15450 wears very similar to a Daytona. You’ll find lots in the forum with a big wrist that wear a Daytona quite happily. Just depends on the look you’re going for. If we go to an extreme, there are load on here with a 39mm Royal Oak who also have a 44mm Offshore. I have watches from 37mm through to 42mm, and they all work, depending on the look I’m going for. People obsess over size, and yet there are multiple factors at play that can make a significant difference (how loose or tight it’s worn, the dial vs bezel size, the case depth, the amount of clutter on the dial, bezel and case material etc.). 41mm all the way.
I had the same dilemma, my wrist size is 6.25 and felt the 37mm was too small for my liking. I went with 41mm. |

Out of interest, was that London AP House? What is the deal with the trying on? Is policy now that everyone must wear gloves?

In my personal experience the bigger dealbreaker is the bracelet. The narrower bracelet on the 37mm cut into my wrist after hours of wear, be careful on this.

I was in the same predicament a few weeks ago but I have a 7 inch wrist. I pulled the trigger on the 15450 but it's not just the wrist diameter IMO but also wrist shape. I vote 41mm for you.

41 has nicer balance but Chrono also wears well.
You have to question why AP moved away from 39 and why given so much 37-41 debated they have not reintroduced? |
