Rolex Shipment to AD's
Hi everyone,
Not sure if this has been addressed in the previous thread before (sorry I am new), but just wondering if anyone has an update on Rolex's shipments to AD nowadays? Given that New York has been hit pretty hard with COVID I was told they had to halt shipments. However, I have heard recently that they are starting to slowly ship models out. Could anyone confirm if most AD's are beginning to get consistent shipments now or if it depends on location/size of store...etc. Thanks! |

I was told shipping from Dallas, on week of June 1, but I think NYV now shipping. I have read if a few WD Daytona shipping this month, I was one of the lucky ones!
Plus this got this today!

ADs in the US have gotten shipments. This is stock that was in NYC ready to ship before the shutdowns. More stock is coming from the factory. At some point soon the loss of production time will show a gap in deliveries. This is very fluid with continued operations data dependent.

My AD got a big shipment this week, including my daughter’s DateJust. I was told special orders would resume soon, but not right now. I put in an order for a DayDate 40. I will be interested in timing, but given all that is going on, I am very patient.

Appreciate the feedback guys. I've heard that NYC has a lot of watches, just wasnt sure if they have started distributing to other AD's.

Wouldn’t that gap in deliveries be the last 3 months?

At time of pandemic outbreak New York distribution had some inventory ready to ship but suddenly discontinued all operations, including shipping.
Now, 3 months later, that inventory may be shipped, so AD's will receive some new product. However, looking forward, the recent 3 months of down time at Rolex Switzerland production means that NY distribution (and the AD's they serve) will not be receiving new product for awhile. |
