Yachtmaster Help
Greeting Folks,
I have a Yachtmaster that I only wear on special occasions and lately after setting the time, it only runs for 10-15mins and stops. Any suggestions before I send it in for servicing? Thanks |

How old is it? Has it suffered any severe trama? Do you keep it on a watch winder?

It is not being fully wound. Either manually wind it after you set the time or put it on your wrist and exaggerate your wrist movement for a while. I would highly suggest a watch winder that will keep it wound for you so it's ready to go when you are.

Thanks for the info. Just how do you wind it fully? I will also try to pick up a watch winder this weekend.

unscrew crown to first position (just unscrewed, not pulled out further--shouldn't change time or date when you spin crown).
Then just wind it CW up to 40 times before you screw it back down. |
