I see the new BB58 is available with a fabric or ‘soft touch’ strap in addition to steel bracelet.

Could this be a pre-cursor to Rolex offering the same for the next generation Sub?

No. Rolex has never offered a strap on a SS watch. They are reserved for PM only.

Well, Rolex never offered the SkyD in stainless steel and now does, so who knows what they plan to do next!
