OP I know you meant well so thank you for that. The problem is that not everyone’s wrist bone and wrist anatomy is like yours. Sometimes the narrowest or most comfortable part of the wrist to wear a watch is different from the average wrist like yours.

I tried to follow OPs "advice", but I realized that in my case there's no way to wear the watch loose enough above the wrist bone to be comfortable, and not to slide over the wrist bone and all the way down.
In my case, the smallest part of my wrist is below the wrist bone. |
