Which watch to go with my Submariner

Looking for an Omega to go with my 116610ln. Trying to decide between the TT SMP in Blue and Sedna gold on Rubber vs Speedy sapphire sandwich.

Thanks!

What are your thoughts about an Omega Aqua Terra. Straddles dressy and sporty.

I have a SMP, Speedy and Aqua Terra. I like the Aqua Terra best.

Not too keen on the dressier watches. Mostly wear casual/scrubs.

I would go for the SMP. I myself am aiming the grey dial with blue rubber SMP to pair with me Pepsi and AP Royal Oak

Speedy all day. You have an iconic dive watch. Get the iconic moon watch.

Really depends what kind of watch you are interested in. Do you want another diver or a chronograph? That will really narrow it down for you.

Totally agree, the AT is super comfortable and has the ability to be dressy or sporty. I think the bracelet with the PCL makes it very dressy, whereas the rubber strap makes it very sporty.

For the options given by the OP, speedmaster sapphire sandwich is the way to go

Practically, I’m not a diver. But debating mainly on the color. I love the idea of having the perfect duo with the sub and speedy. But as my two main watches (I have a Hamilton Khaki I wear as my “beater”), they’d both be black.

I would say neither of those pieces really compliment the Sub. I think the polar Explorer! is the best compliment

I have both of those, although my SMP is in SS with the bracelet.

You can't go wrong with either of them.

If it has to be Omega in this case, then Speedy.

Speedmaster or an Aqua Terra/Globemaster. Get a hefty discount or buy used.

I'd go with the speedy, you already have a great divers watch.

Which watch to go with my Submariner

I just went through that exact decision making process. I walked into the Omega boutique thinking I was getting the blue Seamaster 300m on a bracelet, but I walked out with a Speedmaster Pro Sapphire Sandwich on a black leather strap. I also have a Submariner just like you.

In the scenario of what one Omega to add to a Rolex Sub, my answer is almost always going to be the same: Speedy! Delve into other interesting Omegas after you lock down this essential.
