Socks with flip-flops?

Where's the Ban Hammer when you need it?

No one over 18 should wear socks with any sandal.

I agree it's a poor choice, but I also think it's not one born of fashion.
More of a, 'My feet do better in socks and I don't care what it looks like" kinda thing.

My feet look better in socks, and I won’t go out otherwise

I'd say more, yet waiting for Chewy's Boxers or Briefs thread.

I'm against men wearing sandels/flip flops outside of the beach, pool or their own house. Absolutely hate it.

No sandals for men. Men’s feet should never be seen. To and from beaches, saunas and pools only.

I’ll go sockless with my Birks but that’s it. The one strap or split toe flip flop is a no no to me. Especially with socks. I usually wear Stan smiths or k Swiss classic as my no sock wear Go-to.

Or my sperrys but they went from red to pink with all my poolside antics.

This. But at home only. Never out of the house. I'd rather go out with no pants than with socks in my flip-flops!

I haven't put socks on in months... generally in the Summer I'm barefoot around the house or the beach and wear my Chacos, Olukais, or my Sperrys out and about. No socks until the fall.

The only time I wear my TEVA sandals is when I am going to, coming from or in the water. That's it... without socks of any kind I must add.

Flip flops in general should not be worn outside (other than the beach, pool etc.)

I slowly die inside every time I see women in flip flops all summer long in Boston (all pretty much everywhere else).

They think it's comfy, I see it as trashy. Oh well, to each his own

But seriously, preposterous!
