Bulova Snorkel Diver circa 1965
A recent pick up that reminded me of an Explorer 1016 or a Ranger 9050/0, both of which I would love to own, but can’t afford (found this for around $700). Apparently the seller bought the watch from an estate of an officer who ended his career in the Naval Special Warfare Command based out of Coronado, CA. It’s probably seen some things. I’m a sucker for tritium dials and it’s got patina for days. I thought 35mm might wear too small, but I was pleasantly surprised. Enjoy!
