15202ST or 26574ST

Need help to decide.

Which one will you go for if given the option and why ?

I love the jumbo clean dial. But I also love the complicated dial on the perpetual calendar.

Which piece is more rare ?

PC, even though it’s too big for my wrist. I’d suspect they make fewer of those than they do the jumbo. It’s a stunner.

Do you have access to both?

PC is more rare, but I think Jumbo is harder to source.

Personally, I think the PC is more special. Not a perfect analogy but kindof like what the WG PC Nautalus is like vs the regular Nautalus.

Also, there are many substitutes for the jumbo, namely 15500 or 15400 etc, but there are few substitutes within the AP line for the perpetual.

Finally, I think the finishing is actually very, very elegant and the dial not as busy as one might expect.

Why is the jumbo harder to source ?

Yep, i already have the 15500 blue in my collection. But i believe 15202 is also a must as its a classic Royal Oak piece ?

But i also need the PC in my collection

First world problems... Stresss....

Go with PC

50th anniversary is coming up so they’ll probably do something special that you’ll want

Guys, lets not forget there is over a $30k price delta between the two on the grey market and even more so at MSRP.

The 15202st is iconic and quintessential AP with a tremendous amount of heritage and a wonderful slim design. Don't get me wrong, the PC is a beautiful watch albeit I think the dial is cluttered and I would not wear every day like the 15202st. Certainly would not pay another $30k for the PC.

My highly biased opinion from a 15202st owner, I LOVE this watch and from someone who gets bored easily, I doubt I will ever sell it.

Given you have the 15500, I think your personal decision is super, super easy. Pick the PC. It will fit into your collection so much better. You already have a 15500 and I totally understand the history/prominence/desire of the Jumbo, but having the Jumbo and 15500 Blue in the same collection to me is repetitive (unless of course the Jumbo was an A-Series or something).

PC for me. I hope to one day own one too. If you already have a 15500 the 15202 is too similar.
