15202 full rosegold AD Availability?

Hi AP Fam - I am toying around with the idea of purchasing a full rosegold 15202 from an AD. I have a limited (four purchases) relationship with a NY AD and the Vegas boutique. I called my NY AD and asked about availability and they essentially laughed at me and said zero chance. Before I get potentially told the same thing from the Vegas boutique, I wanted to get a pulse on this via TRF.

Are these full rosegold pieces really in that high of demand? I know that SS is going nuts, but I didn't think that PM pieces were having the same craze.

Any thoughts?

Not impossible but very difficult. Greys are asking for 80k for 15202OR today - just saw one yesterday in hk. I remember earlier this year the asking was like 65k.

My AD told me that 15202ST or 15202OR is impossible to acquire for most people. Most people have to settle for 15500OR instead. You need to be VIP for them to be on the waitlist.

It seems like Covid19 makes it even worst than before for to acquire a popular timepieces.

The 15202OR is no longer being manufactured, the pieces that are found at boutiques at this moment are the final ones that have been distributed.

These are crazy times. Right now even getting a Rolex DD40 is not so easy anymore and has wait times as long as 12+ months depending on metal/dial combo. So, i am not surprised a 15202 in Rose Gold s hard to come by.... i never thought i would see these shortages!!

They make very very very few 15202s, hence the lack of availability and high secondary market price. My AP AD in Beverly Hills has received ZERO 15202s this year. Zero. I imagine these get closer to 5711 levels in the future.

AP House in Bangkok has recently just opened in July this year and I dare say almost a dozen of 15202st’s being allocated here alone plus a few more of 15202or and the very last 15202ip to be delivered next month. I’ve seen many people receive 15407 models as well. I got one 15202st and I know a lot of other guys also receive the same. An excellent purchase record is required of course but the bundle is very good. I purchased a regular code 11.59 and guaranteed 15202st. Paid in July and received 15202st in August.

One guy purchased the new concept 26589io in shades of blue and grey ($210K) and he’s guaranteed to get a black ceramic opened work. Different region definitely plays part of the roles.

Last month there’s a limited concept flying tourbillon gmt of 20 pieces for South East Asia, Malaysia, Thailand and Singapore. Price is around $250k and within a few days after it launched, 7 of them being sold in Bangkok alone. Thus, the allocation is now full. Crazy market here.

Ranking in terms of sales world wide this year now is probably Japan, Singapore, Thailand and Switzerland. Expect these 4 countries to receive most of the hot models from my observation. It’s a market mechanism.

They trickle them out and don’t allocate all 250 on day 1
