This is a true icon on rubber

Got many coveted references, but this is my new daily.
Not a smurf, blue SkyD, GMT blue/black oyster......

I clicked and was prepared to see a BB58. Then I realized this is TRF and not WUS.

Kind of pleasantly suprised. Looks fantastic. It is an icon indeed.

That looks really good!

I’d like to add a 5 digit sub one day.

A few pounds pushing on a 0.8 mm spring bar tip is thousands of psi of pressure applied to a tiny amount of material. True story. The spring bar will blow out 0.8 mm chunks of lug.

Agree about the watch icon part,as for the rubber strap thats very debatable it's just a rubber strap.

In general they are almost bulletproof but I had a spring-bar clasp or a lug-pin fail but in fairness they are not designed to have almost 15 stone dangling suspended, over the side of a boat.It was around 2000 trying to get back into the pick up boat after a dive in the Red Sea.I started to take my BC off when the Egyptian deck hand just pulled up my BC and left me suspended by my SD bracelet.Good job the spring-bar failed one SD lost to the abyss but I still have my most important bit my wrist.
