New to AP world curious how long is the wait for 26315 in general?
I’m very new to AP market, but very interested on AP 26315. Would really like to know how long is the wait for this particular one?
Thank you in advance |

Might get lucky if you fly to Boston botique right now. Literally. No joke on the gamble.
You can ask Vipes for his thoughts! |

Who gets to fly on a whim during this pandemic?
I don't think that's even possible or realistic. Let alone with more lockdowns hitting right now given that we're averaging over 180k daily new cases. |

I’ve been very lucky to meet with someone that can let me have the watch in a short period of time .
It’s nuts pure luck and timing , just have to keep the connection with the SA in the boutique or AD that you are comfortable at . They might surprise you . Good luck |

No need to fly. There is nothing available. Start slow and get to know some folks at boutiques. It will come.

they're easier to get than a 15500, premium isn't too bad for it right now either

I think 41 is more popular. I think this piece is still somewhat attainable with a wait. Call the AP boutiques and see.

I turn down one last week (I think the watch it too thick).
Honestly I would say it is a 6 months wait, not a very hard watch to get. Good luck on your wait ! |

idk i wasn't able to get one at retail, was told it wasn't possible from one AD for 2021 and another that said "maybe"... i then called literally every AD in America to gauge their estimates, only 1 had one (in a grey dial) and others said no chance for remainder or the year and to call back in February... i don't mind paying a little more to avoid playing the game... with AP continuously raising prices, kind of closes the gap slightly on the grey market, so doesn't make me feel as bad not buying from an AD

Yep and the gap is quite small at the moment.

that said, i can probably foresee the gap getting wider specifically on these 38mm chrono, especially the 2 steel ones. fits like a 39/40mm watch, which appeases men and women, and with the pent up demand and low supply on standard royal oaks, i can't see why someone would pay the same amount for a blue dial 15450 on grey for the same price as the 26315 white/blue dial chrono... so if you can get them at retail, get them quick before they become the next thing to shoot up

I just picked up a Grey dial 26315 yesterday in Singapore. I literally called the boutique SA on Monday, and he asked me to come in on Wednesday.
In discussion with him, he said overall production is down at least 20%, and steel stock is extremely tight, so I got very lucky. Only around 36,000 watches produced this year by AP. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
