We also have the C2 rowing erg... In have not been using it lately. Need to.
Apologies man, I somehow missed seeing this earlier! I remember now from the mountain biking thread that you mentioned taking up rowing for about four years after a nasty bingle on the bike—is that when you got the Concept 2 rower? I have another four weeks, I think, before my name comes up for one. The wait list for the Bike Erg and Ski Erg (which I passed up) were about three weeks faster than estimated, but I am in Australia, so I guess that’s neither here nor there. I love the bike and find it quite gruelling, particularly when I do interval sprints on it (my tennis coach says this is the best thing for tennis fitness). After that mountain bike thread, I am keen to get on the trails near my house, particularly with my oldest kid.

Stay well.

My apologies as well, first time I have read this thread and must thank you for the kind words about inspiration. I must admit, either of the concept 2 machines are very good on their own, but having both just takes it to another level, you will love the rower, having said that, I always find the bike erg the harder workout of the two.

I got the rower after a couple years on the team. We do Erg Sprint races in Feb every year, and we get the option to buy an erg at a discount after the race. That's what I did, even bought the one I raced on, ha.

I just put together the spin bike today, it's pretty good but the bike erg is much better (we used them in training on the team).
