I love them both but I have the YG black dial on order. Either of them are stunning. I think the WG reference has the best looking Daytona dial in their entire lineup.

interesting choice here, and I might be faced with same situation in near future.. lol

my pick would be WG Daytona. I looked at couple of RG Rolex pieces, and they look beautiful in pics but in real life I am not a big fan. It gives away a pinkish hue which makes the piece look feminine.

AP RG tone is way better, imo.

also - gotta ask yourself if RG is appropriate for your everyday activity. can you wear this to work everyday without drawing negative reactions from crowd, etc

With WG, I could wear the piece everyday, but with RG, I wouldn't be able to.

As an owner of the WG Oysterflex I say go for it. It's a great watch, very versatile and would be quite a different look from your GMT. Especially if you already have an everose chocolate daytona - I don't think you would get a great value from adding the OF version of it.

But if you were thinking of getting the OF as a replacement, rather than addition to, your existing everose chocolate daytona then sure, that could work. It's an interesting colour but doesn't have the versatility to be a daily wearer. So if you kept the everose one and added everose OF to it, you would be sharing that 'not for every occasion' time between two separate things and not really getting your £24k+ of value from each.

I ended up getting my 116519LN preowned at a small premium as although they are much easier to get than the steel ones, there's still a wait time on them and hard to even access that wait time in UK without a dealer relationship. Maybe easier for you with your existing purchase history or perhaps generally bigger spending power than me. Perhaps Covid-19 financial turmoil and Brexit etc will help soften the market over the next couple of years if it cuts employment, city bonuses and footballers salaries...

The WG is stunning and perhaps more versatile.
The RG is elegant and flamboyant but less masculine.

Its like trying to decide between a black lambo and a purple one.
You're a winner either way.

Anyway cut to the chase I own a Gmt 2 Black ceramic bezel which I have owned from new and love . I also own a everose Daytona chocolate face which I also love ..

So I am interested in the Daytona oyster flex white gold 116519LN but I also like the everose chocolate face 116515LN. But for the love of me can’t decide .. does anyone own them and what do you guys think .

Luckily my dealer can just about get either model with a bit of wait time but he said these get snapped up pretty quick especially these two models in the Oytserflex range .

TRF will go with the forum favorite WG OF. I Say go for the RG. Much warmer and just a bigger fan of RG in general. Also the Choco Panda dial is underrated.
Ultimately, see both in the flesh and see which one sings to you. Can't go wrong with either. My dad has the YG PN Dial OF Daytona and loves it.

Get the white gold Daytona since you already have a chocolate Daytona. I just bought one and I pick it up in a few days. Wait times are very short.

Torn between the 2 !

I’ve got mine on order (WG of course), I’ve got a steel Daytona white face ceramic, and love it. Can’t wait for mine to arrive. My dealer says that the WG completely oversells the other two. I was offered the rose gold at another dealer last week, but I’ll buy where I got my steel Daytona. I was told approx 6 month wait.

RG: I saw and tried the rose gold of a friend and tried one at an AD. I loved it.... but thought the dial was a bit too dark for me. Beautiful but a bit dark. I did love it though. I nearly bought it, but I am glad I didn’t, as I now know I prefer the WG.

SS: AD said that it’s still very difficult to get with long waiting; white is the preference but people will take either black or white. SS is the preference over PM. PM less unavailable :o)

PMs on OF: AD said that WG sells faster than the other 2 PM pieces. According to her WG> RG > YG

Have you picked up yours yet?

I won’t be heartbroken if mine doesn’t arrive by then although I think it will. :)

Heartbroken I couldn’t secure a Hulk from an AD, as I don’t go gray.

When do you get your WG OF? How long will you wait/have you waited?

I have to put the order in with my dealer now that I have made a decision finally .
I agree my dealer was like similar 6 months but they are snapping up fast the Pm models . But I agree Ss models are like a long waiting list .. he put me down , but to be fair not fussed now anymore is a cat and mouse game lol

Daytonas are all difficult to get. PMs are less difficult to get than steel ones. That’s what I meant.

My dealer was brilliant - got me my steel one before the PM, and I’m very grateful, so I’ll only buy from them going forward, even if I have to wait longer... and no gray for me.

I am with you on that refuse to go to the gray market .. not in my blood to do it ! I know a couple of people on waiting list for hulks .. the last batch will be shipped out let’s see who gets them ! Hopefully no flippers !

I think he told me similar time 6 months ., he can get it not a problem just wants me to be sure because he says they get snapped up pretty quick and the value on these are going up ! I actually sent him a message to day hopefully he will give me a time frame . But I think it’s similar to yours .

You wouldn’t be heartbroken !! I agree but be in happy if it got discontinued!! It’s like another missed opportunity

Hopefully no flippers as you quite rightly say... or grays... and bless whoever gets the chance to!

I don’t really buy for profit - but really for the love of the look/feel/history.... if the ££ goes up, great, if not, that’s ok too... part of the fun

Is everyone still on the white gold train? I’ve been looking around and it seems like the rose gold/chocolate costs more from grays and seems harder to come by. My sales lady says she has yet to see one in person. Of course the store could have gotten some but they went to other sales associates clients. Thoughts? I see a lot more of the white gold variant around.
