AP boutique question
Morning- hope everyone has had a good festive season?
Quick question as always been a Rolex kinda guy but looking towards the AP brand , specifically the RO and ROO. What’s the availability in Authorised boutiques like - specifically on the the 15500ST and 26470SO (Vampire?) Am heading to Dubai shortly- is it any better there than UK? Appreciate the steel market is probably as daft as the Rolex steel market, but what about the ROO market? |

15500ST will be a several month wait for black, gray, or white.
There are usually some Offshores models available. The Vampire is either usually available or can be gotten in a relatively short timeframe.

That easily? Considering the grey market price I did not think a walkin can get a 15500 that easily

There are plenty of people on here that can attest to getting a 15500. As I said you just need to be patient as the wait can be up to a year or even more. This would be after the “visit”, as requesting one via email or phone isn’t going to get you anywhere.

Ah ok, so being based in the uk, the nearest boutique is London - which is a fair trip from me and not there often- any ideas of how to play this and not bother with Dubai?

All I can tell you is I got nowhere with email/phone calls. I know it's hard to travel now, but if you're serious about inquiring about a 15500 you're going to have to make a visit to a boutique or AD. That's the only way to expect something, unless you just want to go secondary and be done with it.

I got a 15500 quickly but I was advised to take a trip to introduce myself. I’m 200 miles away from London so took the day off work, bit the bullet and went up. Well worth it. Very friendly. |

Definitely start the process of getting to know AP London now. Give them a call. You certainly aren't visiting with them any time soon though :(
If you need a referral then PM me and I'll give you the details of who to call. As to 'when' you may be allocated anything is anyone's guess, especially in these strange times, but the sooner you start the metaphorical journey of becoming part of the AP family the better. |

Thanks for that, dropped you a PM. Interesting that WOS can get the vampire in 2 weeks- although there’s a 6k difference between UAE price and UK price...

The price difference is mostly sales tax, or lack there of. Wait until January and the price differential will be greater, given that the UK prices are due to increase.
