Great looking watch -- it's in excellent shape!

I would really to know more about the "Yves Klein"-dialed 14790s, as well. I've had similar difficulty tracking down the provenance and rarity of these; I purchased one in early 2017 on a forum from an Italian seller (serial# E-13XXX) which a local Hong Kong AP boutique told me was made "approximately 20 years ago." I ordered a 1.5 link for the bracelet since I could not get a perfect fit.

I forget where exactly I read (can't find now), but someone on a forum claimed these were a special order for the distributor of AP in the Netherlands. That claims seems a bit suspect as these dials appear on 14790s across years and serials.

Wear in good health!

This! So, long story short, the past weekend I was at the FEI Jumping world cup in Götheborg, Sweden, the buying manager of the Amsterdam Gassan boutique was there as well and since they have an AP Boutique corner I showed him my Yves Klein and told the story about Bagijn that I've read as well (who used to import AP). He'd never seen one before. I reckon that story is wrong as he's been with Gassan for about 30y.

Yes, Bagijn was the name! Please report back if you learn more -- this is a mystery for sure!

Anyone have any info about the 36mm RO? I ask as I have white dial from the late '90s, bought new by me. Anyone know its reference number, how long it was made for, changes, movement, other dials, etc? Back then nobody really paid any notice to any of that, or at least I didn't...

(6" wrists for reference)

Too tiny for a man if I'm being completely frank and honest with you.

Thanks for that completely constructive and helpful, and totally not-generalized, comment.

I'm sensing this was written with wrists measuring 14cm in circumference

That would be due to a lack of experience/knowledge, not an issue with the design of the watch ;)

Does anyone know if they made Yves Klein dials on the ref 4100 or was it only the 14790?

Great looking watch. Want!

I have 6.5” wrists and have a 15300 and a couple of 15450’s (blue and silver).

The 15450 looks smarter and classier, whereas the 15300 is more casual.

So different sizes can transform the look and feel of the watch.
