25674 wait time?
Hey gang
Anyone have any idea what the wait time is for 25674? I’ve only purchased one watch from NY boutique (26315) but curious with anyone’s experience with this. Thanks! |

I assume you mean the 26574st?
I’m sure it depends on several things. I don’t think that’s something to expect as a 2nd watch, but who knows. Only the mysterious Allocation Gods have the answer What can be said is this watch has really increased on the secondary market. As little as a year ago it was under retail. Now it’s well above MSRP. I’m not sure what that says in regards to overall boutique availability.

Whoops yes - double miss type. The perpetual SS is what I was asking.
Thanks |

There are many more experienced collectors here than me, but here is a rough "people at the boutique have hinted it", some of which is heavily outdated.
Back in 2019, a possible suggested path was 26331ST --> 15500OR --> 26574ST as the path to take the collection. By 2020 of course, now that 26574ST was hot and not clear it was possible to get anymore without a code in the mix. It was also suggested (hard to know the truth these days) that there were no more 26574OR's coming out of the factory, and the ST was soon right behind it as well, maybe something else coming out to replace soon. Again, lots of hearsay, and usually from people that won't confirm a price increase even when one is coming. |

I attribute it to the 35-50% drop in production at AP this year due to the pandemic, and to the hype created by greys by listing pieces higher and higher in price -- do that enough, and eventually everyone assumes that's the new price. |

Ah yes, women's watches, indeed.
