The views are spectacular though at any price.

Yes, unfortunately there is a long wait time for that one... reference #1919, nickname "Cogsworth"

An old coworker of mine, named Mike, (back in my Canada days before year 2000), came down to SF Bay area for a business trip / training. Back then companies highly recommended that we stay over for the Saturday night to get the lower airplane ticket rates. Well he stayed over and as an avid golfer, he made sure he played the pebble beach golf course during his stay on saturday.

When he came back, he submitted an expense of around $300 or more for that day, as 'entertainment'... and I approved it. But the manager above me, an avid golfer himself, didn't allow it to go through... he was jealous of the fact that Mike had enjoyed a day at Pebble Beach *his dream course also*, and that now was trying to business expense it too!

I asked Mike why did he so want to play that course to spend that much money (the best golf courses around our work were like $30-40 a round or something), and he said this was his dream course and would not miss that opportunity now that he was there.

I caddied for my good friend there when they held the 2018 US Amateur. An experience I will never forget. Even got the opportunity to meet Jack Nicklaus

Awesome pics! Great story too.

great neighborhood to have a place at. We were amazed by our friend's place there (they just moved in.)

Here is a picture I took from their patio overlooking the golf course and Carmel beach:

Here are a couple of videos of waves hitting the rocks, and one from their patio:

Great pics and great opportunity. As much as $5 million is, I am surprised he could get that view of Pebble Beach and the Pacific for that money. Crazy thought, I know!

Faz - Great pics of Carmel - thank you for sharing. Loved the wrist rolls and shots of PB!! One of my favorite spots. We celebrated our 30th there just before Thanksgiving when my wife gave me the Daytona. Fond memories. Below are a few pics of sunset at Carmel.

Eric - WOW! To caddy at the US Amateur at PB and get a pic with Jack...that's really cool...very memorable experience I'm sure. Thanks for sharing those pics!
