Hi guys,

I have am looking to find out the exact ref number for the box for a 1977 gold Submariner 1680/8 nipple dial. I think it should be a wooden box as pictured. I find the newer Rolex have these boxes as well with different Ref numbers on the bottom. Would like to know the correct matching number on the vintage box if anyone here has one?

I do t mean to split hairs but shouldn’t 1977 be a 1680/8? I thought the 16808 started late 1980s?

You`re right, I corrected it. 1680/8 of course is the correct Ref number.
