Modern Daytona Questions

Dear All,

Since most AD stop playing hard to get on this thing, a regular guy like me can start looking for one. Few questions for you:

1. Could you help me understand the difference between old and new clasp of SS Daytona?
I think I saw new one but I might be wrong. Heck, I don’t even know what is the old one looks like.
Pictures to compare would be nice.
2. I should expect to see the newer clasp from “M” series, right?
3. Beside clasp, is there any different on the bracelet?
4. From which series that should I expect to see the “ROLEXROLEXROLEX” engraved on the chapter ring?

Welcome:

1) The old clasp has a circle hole in it...best way I can describe it. The newer clasp has the channel lock similar to the GMT.
2) The new clasp began showing up on the late model M series.
3) No other differences besides the clasp.
4) the RolexRolexRolex began showing up in the Z series.
