If I am not at work I wear my YG DD almost every day (I work in a slightly scary country 4 weeks there, 4 weeks at home)....unless I am cycling, then it's replaced by a SS DJ.....I try to remember to take it off if I go into the garage to do stuff involving tools (sometimes I forget).......I have to admit I am more worried about bracelet stretch than anything else, mine has picked up some nicks along the way but nothing bad......I have had it since 2002 and it's seen alot of wearing since then......when my watch is on, it's on, I don't take it off for showering or sleeping, it stays where it is 'till it is replaced by another.....I have had a Rolex on my wrist constantly since November 1986.......considering the hours, days, weeks, months and years of wrist time this DD has seen it's in fairly good condition...my advice would be yes you can wear a AG Rolex daily....just maybe be a little more carefull than you would be with a SS model....that's easy enough because somehow you never seem to forget you have it on.......

It isn't worn every day because I have a TT DJ and a SS GMT II that I love as well.
So it isn't that I couldn't wear it every day, it is just that the other watches would get jealous. |

I bought my first Rolex, my DD back in 1979. I wore it everyday for 16 years. I wore it to work, swimming, bicycling, playing golf etc. My job involved travel to Asia and I wore it there as well.
I only stopped wearing it daily when I took it to the RSC in New York and they told me the bracelet was worn and they would not polish it. At that time, I purchased my TT AP Royal Oak as my new everyday watch, but continued to wear my DD a few days a month until last month when I sent my DD bracelet to Hong Kong for tightening. You can see from my signature that I have acquired additional watches over the years and now vary the watches I wear each day.

My dad has been wearing his DDI everyday for about 25 years now. Sure it has scratches, but he doesn't care, he just enjoys it.
