Be cautious

Care should be taken in your purchase of new Rolex's right now. I was in 2 jewelry and loans late in the week and another 3 today and ALL of them had displays FULL of Rolex's. What do you want? they are all there for the taking. I can see no reason to buy a new one in my area when there are so many pristine examples available.

In speaking with the owners, all of them said the same thing, they are no longer loaning on Rolex's as they have too many and the prices are dropping. They are still buying but have dropped the price they will give to 30% to 50%below the wholesale level (book price) they are used to paying.

If you live in a big city you may what to check out the jewelry and loans in the high end areas of town. Two of the shops I stopped in were in Newport Beach, one of the most expensive areas in the nation and full of older money!

wow...i think ill try some of the pawn shops and thrift store in palm beach here in florida..i might get something i need...thanks for sharing though!!!
