A couple more nice hotels would be the Knickerbocker and the Drake. They are right off of north Michigan Ave. and are right where the Magnificent Mile is located. Also close to Rush St. where there are a lot of restaurants and clubs!!!

I'd check out the new Trump Hotel. It just opened not too long ago... I plan to check it out, soon!

Lived in Chicago for 5 years. The 3 tops hotels for me are: The 4 Seasons, The Penninsula and the Ritz. The Drake is ok-kind of old though.

Try the omni- It's directly across from the apple store on Mich. Highly reccommended.

I've stayed in all of them. I'd rank them as The Peninsula, The Four Seasons and the Ritz Carlton, in that order. Forget the Drake. As Aiko says, it's old and worn out.

The Westin off of Michigan Avenue is nice - right across from the Hancock.

Man, it has been YEARS, since I partied on Rush street, or the Near North(Lincoln Park Area). I'm wondering, would he be happier in the Near North around the clubs? Is the Drake still a good place, it's pretty old by now?.....Bring me up to date! I think there was a Hyatt down there...Hyatt Water Tower, or some such? |
