Note the emphasis on the IF please.... IF AP were to entertain a commission on a bespoke, custom design, limited in numbers, then who would seriously COMMIT? Let’s also assume that it wouldn’t be ‘design by committee’, but an opportunity to have a very special model for our, yet to be defined, special group? Please don’t get too prematurely excited. THIS IS ENTIRELY HYPOTHETICAL. I hope you appreciate that there is NO way to ask this question with specifics, and thus if you answer with a ‘yes, but as long as it’s a ....’ then I’m going to ignore your answer. This question simply seeks to establish whether a possible working group may be worth while putting together. p.s. Let’s for the sake of this question also assume that to participate in such a group that you would have to sign a contract with the group, legally enforceable, that if you wanted to sell the watch within 3 years, that it would HAVE to be offered back to the group at the price paid. (That will discourage anyone wanting to get in on a quick flip). |
