thanks, all. Felt there is not better time to pick this one up given AP aggressive price hikes as of late.

Saw this at Hodinkee comparing 15500 vs 15400. They look very very similar.

Captured the beauty of the blue dial under a different lighting from earlier photos.

I've looked at this thread multiple times and every time I smile seeing the gorgeous blue dial on the 15500. I think it's just perfect, especially when compared to other dials, the blue dial just mesmerizes you.

Yeah, fortunate to have both in my possession at one point in time or another. Love both colors.

thank you. It is indeed. If I could just a chance to wear it outside of working from home. I also do'nt know at this point if I will yearn for anything else from AP (unless if one goes for >50k pieces).

Thats an amazing watch
i love the blue dial, i even love the grey dial (which i believe the original 5402 came in).
but IMHO i believe that the silver provides the best contrast between: the dial, hour markers, AP logo and hands.
just my opinion

Thanks for the compliment. The black dial on my last 15500St, I thought, presented a very startling contrast from the rest of the watch. Have not seen the silver dial, though. But I agree the grey dial blended so well with the case and hour markers.

Thanks. Very happy with this one. Overall, the 15500St is an amazing AP model (with any color) - it is a RO, new beautiful movement with a long power reserve.

Enjoying this Blue 15500 on my wrist as I wait for another snowstorm. Sorry this thread is turning out to be a photo gallery of this model.

The 15450 in this picture is scaled up relative to the 15400 - sizewise, the difference is very obvious IRL.

Am recreating what was lost after the reboot last Friday. Taken during last week’s winter storm. Of course rinsed this off after sitting for this photo op (ha ha).
