Everest
Are Everest products worth the price? The watch rolls seem incredibly overpriced for what is essentially a watch box.

I was looking at them yesterday. And they do look nice. But on amazon if you type in wolf watch rolls you can find something that works for like $70 compared to nearly $400....I'm sure it's not the same quality. But should work fine.
In for other responses though before I decide to go the amazon route. |

Wolf is cheaper if you don't want to spend the money

They changed the design of their rolls sometime in 2021. According to Everest, the sliders are now intentionally loose fitting; for me they were so loose that a heavy PM watch is honestly not secure. All of my watches easily break free of the sides and lay loose in the roll I received.

I got a Sovereign watch roll which is priced around $70 on Amazon. Decent quality and uses the rivet system to hold the cushions in place so no movement whatsoever. Posted a review on the open discussion thread if you can find it but so far it’s doing the job pretty well.

I bought a watch roll from ebay about ten years ago and it cost about $20US.
It does the job as well as any watch roll at any price and looks just as good in my humble judgement. It doesn't have that luxurious feel of leather, but who cares? It lives in a closet and the occasional suitcase or overnight bag.

Everest is "the roll" for those who believe they need the most overpriced of watch rolls. IMHO I can't see owning one of those unless they were given to me as a gift or prize. There are many out there that do as good a job although not made of platypus foreskins like the Everest rolls. Frankly when I'm travelling I tend to only bring one watch and that stays on my wrist for securities sake. I've got a Wolf and an el Cheapo both of which do more than an adequate job. At home I use watch cases which stack by my bedside on the table. They aren't as compact but store easier. So although I've got two watch roll the are accoutrements which I don't use.

How much will you interact with it? Is it something you are using as a decorative piece, or something that is going to sit in your safe when you aren't changing watches?
