Long term Value 116710BLNR vs 126710BLNR?

Purchased 2017 116710BLNR recently from AIS on TRF and love the Oyster bracelet it is my grail watch which fits my 16.5cm wrist perfectly. Noticed that prices on 116710BLNR vs 126710BLNR on grey market are close in a few instances the 2018 116710BLNR goes for more than new 2020 126710BLNR (DavidSW) normally there is ~$500 USD difference in similar condition. In the last two month the gap in price has seemed to narrowed. There are actually more 126710BLNR for sale on chrono24 worldwide than 116710BLNR. I bought the watch because I prefer Oyster bracelet and thought it would end up surpassing the current 126710BLNR in value eventually especially if Rolex never sales SS GMT Master II with oyster bracelet again. In the end I bought watch to enjoy and the added value of my grail watch keeping it's value is a bonus.

What are your thoughts on value of 116710BLNR 126710BLNR longterm?

You bought what you like! The rest is secondary and will take care of itself.

Always go with the original Batman if going grey in my opinion, unless you like jubilee better. First bicolor ceramic bezel from Rolex with only five years in production.
