Some help choosing
Alright you bunch of experts, I would like your opinions. I am looking at these 3 options right now - IWC Spitfire Mark XVI Chrono, Blancpain Leman Moon Phase, and JLC Master Calendar. Mosco has been very helpful with this - one of the good guys.
Based on these you can see the basic style I am looking for (leather band, light/silver face, pilot kind of look). Which one would you choose and why? If none, do you have another idea for me?

I love them all but the JLC Master Calendar gets top billing in my opinion.
Nice choices and a tough decision. Terry Newton

46and2? Is that a reference to the Tool song? GREAT band -very under appreciated, IMO.
The JLC looks amazing but I really want to see it in person compared to the IWC. Tough to do.

Hey Chris, three very watches, but my vote also goes to the JLC. I've actually been thinking about adding that one to my collection as well, I think it is the nicest calender/moonphase watch in it's price range. The build quality and movement are what you would expect from a quality brand like JLC, but I find the dial one of the best thought out and clear/easy to read layouts in its class.

I hear you about tough to see in person. Around here, we have 2 Rolex ADs, 2 Omega ADs, 1 Panerai AD, and 1 or 2 Breitling ADs. We have none that carry what I consider "high end" or haute horologie. |
