Mens Rolex Submariner Two-Tone Gold/Stainless Blue Face
Seller: orion7_11 (139)
Issue - Total fakeroo. This is a Mens Rolex Sub Mariner bought in Memphis, TN at Jaccard's Jewlers. It has been maintained and serviced on a yearly basis and it still keeps perfect time! I live in Florida and a few years back the box got wet during a hurricane so the paperwork and the book have water damage. I have attached the pics to the best of my ability. I was having problems with flash and no flash so I apologize for the way they look. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me. Thanks http://cgi.ebay.com/Mens-Rolex-Subma...3%3A3|294%3A50

Okay, I'm not familiar with the older models, what is it that stands out the most to you on this one? So much of it looks correct for an older model... Sorry, this one would have tripped me up.

Compare the clasp of this watch in the picture above to the link here:
http://www.artoftime.com/web/en/watc...m?showid=10605 The recess looks like a crater on the one above. Terry Newton

Wow, thanks Terry. Good eyes. That's one of the better fakes I've seen.

Lets hope the fakers and scammers keep making subtle mistakes like these, I did see a SS Sub in the flesh that was a fake, the only way I could tell was they used an ETA movement that didn't produce the authentic 28,800 bph sweeping hand, everything else was 100% correct, the watch cost the guy $700AUD he could have gotten the 28.8kbph movement in the watch for another $200.
And he wouldn't reveal his source, even though I was wearing my old Seiko digital. If the nearly 1:1 fakes are here in AU they will be on the bay for sure

I scares the hell out of me that they are getting so close, if this seller had neglected to include a picture of the clasp I would have walked right by and it would have sold.
