First Ottawa Paneristi Meeting last night

A few weeks back there was a guy on the TZ panny forum and panereh who was asking for newbie info. Seeing his nick was Captain Canuck, I asked where he was from and as it turned out, he's in Ottawa. He picked my limited Panerai knowledge and ended up getting a nice 113F (base).

So last night he and I met up for a couple of pints and bison burgers and it was a great evening to share the passion for Panerai. As WISs, we came with all our straps and other baubles. I lent him my 'Depths from the Sea' book as it is 'mus read' info for any paneristi.

Turns out he lives maybe 2km from me and is an Audi head. He's got a nice '99 A4 that is modded to hell, but very stealth. He's got it up to almost 300hp at the wheels and was trusting enough to let me exercise it before we parted company. Let me tell you, 300hp with all-wheel drive is pretty quick!

Anyways, nice to make a new friend who's local.

The requisit shot... my Kilkenny on the left, and his Guinness on the right.

Nah. I was thinking about chipping it, exhaust, and maybe some coil overs or something but that precious dough could go towards my next watch purchase which needless to say will give me A LOT more appreciation and last longer since the cars leased.

As is, the S4 is a beast anyways!

The S4 IS a beast! My grail daily driver would be an RS6 Avant. I think that would get me to the ski hills reasonably quickly and in a fairly comfortable way.
