Cor. That's nice. Congratulations.

And you bought a steering wheel to go with it. Nice match.

Congratulations, wear it in good health. The hours hand needs adjustment - looks like a poor QC by Rolex.

i had a very similar situation to you for the exact same watch, except i would check in much more often and even when they first reopened. I explained to a very experienced SA what had transpired and referenced certain things that brought credibility to my situation (i referred to where the SA left to and they apologized and indicated they would add me to their personal list). do you know what i got? a big fat nothing LOL. When the owner of the store sells himself before it hits the showroom and essentially competes with his own employees (selling for over MSRP out the back door), what can one expect?

consider yourself lucky and congrats on findings a VERY honest AD, especially in this market.

About a 6 weeks ago I reached out and spoke with a new SA who was a friend of my old SA. I brought up that I had been waiting but failed to follow up due to a hectic 2020. I was invited in, made an introduction, and connected with the SA. I only stopped in one more time to introduce my fiancé around two weeks later.

With the new announcement on the 7th, I texted and asked if they’d be getting more watches due to it being available on both bracelets. I received a response back stating they didn’t think so - but it didn’t matter because they had a surprise for me and asked me to call when I got a chance. Scheduled pickup for today. No games, no bundling requests, just a straight smooth transaction with amazing people. I know my case isn’t normal, but keep inquiring and making an effort.

Thank you! I believe (if I measured correctly) I have around a ~7.25in wrist.

Good catch - I didn't even notice that, I'm assuming this was due to it having just been wound or something. It's perfectly fine today? Strange.

I couldn't agree more. Definitely lucky.

It's tough when greed controls the situation. If I were you, I'd start going around to other AD's and express your story. Try to connect with different SA's until you find someone who actually understands your frustration. I know my situation is out of the norm but it definitely shows that there are good people out there. Best of luck!
