Upsizing from RO 37to 41mm?
Thinking about sizing up from a 37 to a 41. My concern, like many, is the fit and comfort. I have a 6.25 inch flat wrist, and a span of about 51mm. To all the small wristed RO 41 owners out there, what do you think?
Any chance AP comes out with a non jumbo 39 anytime soon? |

Never say never. But why not just go back to the previous 39mm non jumbo RO? Premium does not seem too bad.

i think the 41mm would be too big on a 6.25 inch wrist but it's worth trying on. just make sure you take photos in front of a mirror and not close ups of your wrist
what about going for the 38mm ROC? |

I'd definitely not make that change w/o trying the 15500 first. I assume you've seen this thread: https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=707894
The challenge is not just the different case size, but the larger/emptier 15500 dial and longer lug-to-lug distance. My wife likes men's watches and has permanently borrowed my 47mm Radiomir on a leather strap, but the 41mm RO doesn't work for her as the overhanging lugs/bracelet links look rather unfashionable. |

I have a 6.5" wrist and got rid of my 15400 because it was too big. The 15450 is perfect

I have near identical wrist size to you and find the dial on the 15450 too small and went with the 15500. Very happy with my choice and puts a smile on my face every time I look at it (which is every few mins!).

Slightly bigger wrist than you, and I find the 41mm Royal Oaks to be far too big. I wear 15450 and 15300.

I suggest to stick with 37 or 39 for your wrist size. 36mm 14790s are also solid contenders.
I have the same wrist size as you and find that the 41 is just too large personally. |

I have the same wrist size (6.3), but a wrist span of 55mm. I much prefer the 15500 to the 15450.

I think the size is good but I want an in house AP movement and an uninterrupted gran tapisserie dial. |

Most people that have less than 6.5" wrist will go for 37mm more than 41mm.
Size is personal preference, if you like 41mm better, go for it. I have 6.6" flat wrist, I have 36mm, 37mm and 41mm (AP) and love all of them.

I just purchased the 15450. After trying on the 15500 I opted for the smaller 37mm. The 41mm wasn't too big per say but it wasn't the look I was going for on my 6.5 inch wrist. It just looked off to me and slightly uncomfortable because of where the lugs were positioned on my wrist. I personally think a 6.5 inch wrist is the minimum wrist size for the 15500. I also don't like how the "Automatic" was removed from the 15500. The dial looks too empty without it in my opinion. At the end of the day its personal preference. The 15500 will fit you but just be aware it is significantly larger than your 15450. Stick to your 37mm! :)
