Rolex Sub Hulk x Watches of Switzerland x Celtic???

I've been made aware that Watches of Switzerland offered 50 Rolex Hulks for the 50th anniversary of the Lisbon Lions winning the European Cup back in 2017 - these were engraved with a Celtic crest.

I'd never heard of these - has anyone else? I'm wondering if it was an aftermarket engraving which isn't all that interesting (other than them having 50 Hulks for sale at once!) or if they've got them done by Rolex almost like the Khanjar pieces, which would be very interesting indeed

Anyone able to shed any light?

Never heard of them and if they exist, we’d have seen one. Next, I doubt WOS could gather 50 116610LV’s to give away in one hit either, then, why would they give away £340,000 of watches because a guy kicked a ball in a net while others watched? I don’t buy it.
What’s your source, a guy in the boozer?

I'm the source, I was at the event in London. My mate has one and I'm waiting on him sending some photos across of the case back. Brian Duffy is an ex Celtic director and now Chief Exec of WOS.

I can't post links as this is a new account but if you google "eddie grady remembering lisbon part 2" then the fyer for the watch is on the page about half way down next to the event programme.

So that would make it an aftermarket engraving right? Interesting provenance. But not important, either, in a collecting sense.
