In HK, the new BB Chrono is being dubbed the "Baytona"

You can't get Daytona yet, so get this while you work on that dream.

Any reference to the Daytona is more of a wannabe insult than nickname. Panda and Reverse Panda are nickname enough.

The universally recognised nicknames, of which there are relatively few outside places like this forum and associated preening Youtubers, tend to be established organically over years and remain long lived. You can't force nicknames. It doesn't work like that. Silly people try to, but they just look silly.

We are very creative here in Hong Kong! Especially when it comes to „sorry no stock / Notona“ whilst the grey market dealer just collected his pieces from the same AD and left through the side exit...
