It is going to drop, according to my machine learning model.
With 95% confidence, I can assure you the price of 126710 is going to drop by at least 50%. Buy with confidence ! |

Price of GMT Master II
The MSRP prices are on the Rolex website: below for Pepsi on jubilee and Oyster, BLNR is same pricing as well:
On grey sales probably the older BLNR will lower a bit as the claim of being the only one available on Oyster from factory is now gone Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

I do think the value of pepsi would rise if rolex offer bracelet purchase separately and not require to take back the old one, because then pepsi demand would go up as it becomes a watch with 2 bracelet options officially.

I was at my ad yesterday and they had Cellini in the main cabinet. They had only had 44 pieces in the entire store (most were ladies watches). I don't see prices dropping on the secondary market anytime soon. Even PM watches are increasing in value on the secondary market which I never thought I'd see.

Price of GMT Master II
Yes it will drop
On grey market When supply increases 10x to the extent that one can walk into any dealer and see it available for purchase in the showcase |

Usually when a Rolex is out of production the price doesn't drop and with the supply and more demand for a new one the way it is I don't see much of if any drop in price happening for the original Batman.

Don't think prices will be dropping anytime soon.
Believe it is becoming more apparent that Rolex is making an effort to swim upmarket to the like of Patek and AP so their most sought after watches will remain exclusive (Hermes business model) May even see more traction toward Rolex as AP made a seemingly huge blunder with the Marvel watch that I think will deter many folks away from AP for some time. |

How much do you need it to drop to decide to buy?

The story so far shows that the price you can buy a rolex today is lower than tomorrow. Perhaps original batman will temporarily drop a little in short term but the demand will drag it up again. 116710blnr has a lot of first ones to be considered a must for a lot of collectors. In any case I love mine and wouldn't care less about its pricing curve. It was a love at first sight and took me time to get there.

There is no indicator at this time that any of the variables have changed that would suggest an imminent price drop at either ADs or secondary dealers.
