I have a TT Daytona 116523 and find it less flashy than the stainless steel GMT BLNR that I’ve previously owned.
The polished steel was brighter, more mirror reflective and flashier than my gold centre links, plus the ceramic bezel had more flash than the smaller gold Daytona bezel

I have a silver dial DJ2 and a yellow gold TT Ivory DJ2.

The silver for more daily wear for me, the TT is my 'occasions' watch.

But that's just me, you could make every day an 'occasion' with the TT, and the yellow gold compliments the Ivory dial perfectly. It's a very 'calming' watch to look at and admire I find.

Does anyone have some side by sides of Rolex RG vs other brands... would be particularly interested in AP and Omega
