14060 price incrase in Canada
Most of the Rolex line up in Canada got atleast 10% increase while the milgauss GV went down 10 canadian dollars. the biggest surprise is the 14060 sub no date. boy oh boy talk about a price increase. i called my AD yesterday to confirm if i can still get that sub for "my price". she said she can't give it to me for the price she gave to me before april 1 because the 14060 sub went up a whopping 20%!!! if i remember correctly from 5500 Canadian it is now up to 6600 Canadian Dollars which is 5800 US dollars. if i took the chance i could have gotten it for 4500 CAD or 4000 US dollars... well what can we do? but the biggest news is that the 14060 went up like there is no tomorrow!

Wow! I was told by my AD that the prices were going to go up about 10% April 1st, but I didn't realize some were going up by 20%! I am really glad I bought my GMT IIC a week earlier!

Hi guys
That's really strange since the 14060M is an End of Production run item. The Rolex website does not carry the model and it was not shown at Basel. A price increase is very unusual for such models. I go mine just 3 weeks ago in Tokyo, bnib V series for Yen 348,000 or US$3480. Reading your news, boy am I glad I put my money down and stretched the budget. |

This is the first time I've heard that this is an "end of production model". The Rolex web site does not include every model they make. The 14060M hasn't appeared on the site for some time (if ever?).
In short Rolex don't seem to bother to promote this particular model. No surpise they didn't show it at Basel. On the other hand I don't believe they announced that it was to be discontinued. Any info. to the contrary would be interesting. I might just buy me a 2nd one! |

End of production?

I remember seeing the 14060M on the Rolex site early this year, or maybe I was mistaken. Yes, it's a great watch and I would not like to see it go. |

It is not end of production. Just because it was not shown at Basel or is on the website, what you assume does not follow. How to start unfounded rumours...

My view is that the 14060M will continue to be produced, even after all the Sub Dates have gone ceramic.
Aside from a bit of cosmetics and some minor movement changes, it has stayed the same for the past couple of decades.. It doesn't really share any parts with the Sub Dates (except for some movement parts that all Rolex share). Just like Omega still produces the Speedmaster in a plastic crystal, hand-wind version...I think that the 14060M will continue to provide a Sub for many more years. ...........
