Well I did and now you’re criticizing me for that. Pretty rich.
The point is that your comments are puzzling.

The watch in question was overwhelmingly thought to be in great shape and a good example by many of the most knowledgeable folks on the Forum. Only a very few thought otherwise.

In this thread, you have sent it back for something "better". Better is subjective, but some here might question what you really want, just as I surmised that the seller might.

We are all happy that your issue has been resolved.

Perhaps I should have been clearer about what I was asking then in my initial post you referenced. When I bought the watch, I was told that there were no problems with it. I had asked about some other watches and was told about things like polishing, scratches, etc. thus when none of that was referenced with this watch, I assumed it didn’t exist. Which is a fair assumption given the context. The issue when I posted bout the polishing wasn’t weather the watch was beat up or anything like that, but weather the condition was really what I initially was told and believe it was. People who don’t know too much about watches like myself can’t really tell the difference between a pristine watch and one that has had most of its flaws polished out. That’s why I sought help here. Was the watch beat up? No of course not and it probably would have been a great get for many. However I went above and beyond my initial price limit for the piece because it really was a grail and I was led to believe I was basically getting a flawless watch. That’s why I was disappointed when I began to realize the condition is not what I thought. It was never about getting a good deal or anything like that as many here are concerned with. Watches are meant to be used and warn and wear is expected. However there is something about causing that wear yourself, even on a mint pre owned watch. I told the seller I would have paid more for a better condition of the same watch but they couldn’t source it.

The credit card company charges the vendor the same percentage to run a credit as they do to run a charge, let’s say 3% to keep the match simple. So three hundred bucks is a reason. As for the lack of communication there is no excuse.
