Some of these comments crack me up

That picture makes it look a lot worse than it is. I can feel it with my nail but nothing I can do about it now.

This watch will see a lot more before I'm done with it

Eric, I’m sorry, but your watch is completely ruined. Tell you what.. Send it to me and I’ll pay you $50, just so it’s not a complete loss. Heck, I’ll even pay for shipping.

No need to thank me, just trying to help out a friend.

Yikes that's a nasty one, but it's still a beautiful watch.

Whats the old saying there is no use tiptoeing through life, simply to land safely at deaths door. Same with watches.

Really don’t feel like negotiating at this point but a fair offer of a crisp Benjamin might have got the deal done. Oh well, maybe next time

Yes it is.

Sure gold is soft but SS scratches just as easy from my experience.

Not worried about it at all. I’m the only one who will know it’s there and as i said before, this watch’s has only began its journey.

On to the next scratch

Yes - but they're deeper on gold. My PP 5712 WG had to go in for a polish after only 2 years when I wore it mostly all the time :-(

Gold now just for dinner and work. Not leisure - at least I've got some great SS watches and 2 titanium ones for that :-)

Damn, pretty sure the insurance company would rate that as a total loss. If watches were constructed like cars you’d have mini airbags every where, poor thing is totaled, hard to even look at.

Honestly, this would make me cringe once, when I first notice it. Then it’s like oh well, it is metal. As JerryRigEverything always says but regarding glass....
Metal is metal and well, metal “will” scratch.
Enjoy that bad boy in health.
