New GMT strap

Hello again people,

I had an idea to buy a New GMTII -C strap with the new clasp and get all the polished bits brushed and put it on my LV SUB.
I would then keep my LV strap in it's box.

Would the strap fit straight on with no troubles?

Anybody know the cost of this strap complete?

Cheers.

I dont think it will fit at the lugs. To give you an idea on price, I got a few Daytona clasps for guys from the US a few years back to put on their YM's, the clasp and comfort extension link were £500 on there own.

If you wanted to do the clasp on its own for your LV, that should work.

It would have to be outside of the Rolex AD network. They only sell the steel bracelets on trade, and they wont sell you one for a different model.

The endpieces would not fit, there would be a height differential as the Submariner is a bit thicker.

Good luck and happy hunting.

How about this?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...:X:RTQ:GB:1123

As you can see it did not sell, the guy may still have it and may be willing to do a deal.
No harm in asking!!
