Icon7 There it is, boys ! There it is.. [BLNR]

This is a big moment in my watch collecting life. I have been passionate about watches for a few years now, and to be franc, I never would have expected to end up in possession of this watch.

I have always heard left and right that SS sports models are impossible to get. And you know what ? I believed it. I was so indoctrinated in this 'you have to play the Rolex game' spiel that I wouldn't even dare to ask my AD if I could apply for the waiting list.

This April, a friend of mine turned 30 and wanted to buy a Sub for his b-day. I took this opportunity to accompany him to the AD and request alongside him a 126710BLNR for myself. The salesman politely said that I might have to wait more than a year for this specific model as the demand is so high. I specifically asked for the new oyster bracelet because if I end up waiting that long, I at least want to have the superior bracelet (sorry jubilee-fans).

Today, six weeks later, the Batman is in my hands, and I can't be happier. I don't know if it is luck or some other factors I don't know about, but I am very fortunate to have an AD that takes very good care of me. They were very polite and professional and I am very lucky and grateful.

To quote a Disney villain : 'I'll be returning, hungry for more..'

I hope you enjoyed reading about my little adventure and wish you all a beautiful weekend !

I will repeat with the stubbornness of a maniac that Batman is the best GMT of a ceramic Rolex.

Congrats!

Congrats!

Indeed I might suggest if it was a local AD, I wonder if the lack of mainland Chinese tourists had anything to do with more stock for the local customers in CH.

All warranty cards across the globe now are written in European date format. (DD/MM/YYYY).

This would be June 11th.

I do not like the modern Rolex watches at all. With the exception of this one. They nailed the colors and looks far more integrated that the BLRO. Congrats on what is easily their most versatile watch.
