A Youtuber that’s in touch with reality or not?

I just encountered this video from YouTube, tips to get the Rolex you want from an AD.
I will follow his suggestions and wish me luck!

Looks like basic courtesy, consistency, and effort in self-presentation. Sorta like a job interview. If you wanna play the game, I don’t see anything controversial about his advice. I would have added the reminder that you can do everything right, and still end up waiting several years for certain models.

If you plan on following his suggestions, why did you leave this comment?

I agree. I have been waiting years and still have no faith that I will get my Rolex Sport model from the local AD. In the meantime, I just went out and bought a Tudor GMT and will enjoy it until "Hell freezes over". I know it isn't a Rolex, but it is a quality watch that I could actually buy and it looks great.

I love the Tudor GMT. They went for the classic aesthetic, and nailed it.

I agree that no matter how good you play the game, it still may take a long time to get what you want. Persistence will pay off though, who knows just how long it needs to occur.

9 plus minutes? My attention span is 23 seconds and getting AD watches isn’t rocket science. Were there rockets or science?
