Thank you for your insight and tips!

Last week I asked for some recommendations for the next watch:
https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=807812

Had some great ideas for specific watches, but perhaps more important to me, themes.

Amongst the pearls I received were to look for a chronograph or other complications and diversity of color or dial markers.

I think I found it and should be receiving next week. The MK40 is a fun watch, probably a strap monster, and doesn’t break the bank.

Many thanks!

Congrats! Amazing choice

Quick question - how do you feel the Skyflake compares to your Rolexes / Omegas? Have Rolex / Omega and considering adding a GS, but not sure about how quality / WR / everyday feel compares. (I want one of the titanium Spring Drives, maybe Snowflake or Winter)

The quality of GS is impressive. Dial aesthetics are on point with incredible attention to detail and it probably keeps time better than any watch in my collection. I feel like the bracelets with GS are lacking and it is one of the reasons I chose the skyflake. GS is just a different animal and I think it compliments my collection very well. I’d encourage you to try it out.

Ah I see. Was thinking of swapping out the bracelet for a strap to get an ultralight watch anyways so that works, thanks!
